Two students of the Department of Economics of AmSU will present the results of their research in the final of the VIII All-Russian competition of research papers of students and postgraduates "Science of the future — science of the youth" ("Наука будущего — наука молодых"). Olga Karelina, a 3rd-year student of the "Economic Security" specialty, and Alexey Vasiliev, a 4th-year student of the "Management" specialty, successfully passed the competitive selection in the interdisciplinary field "Social Sciences".
In total, 6719 applications from 420 universities and scientific organizations were received for the elimination round. 30 students, which included representatives of AmSU, from different universities received an invitation to the final round in the field of "Social Sciences".
The final of the competition will be held on September 20-23 in Orel on the basis of the Turgenev Orel State University. There, students will present their work to representatives of the international scientific community.
Young specialists will be able to acquire the skills of presenting themselves and their research project, talk about the scientific result. Representatives of the Department of Economics of AmSU told that the participation in the onsite stage of the event will create an opportunity for professional scientific communication with the world's leading scientists from 25 countries, including Nobel and Fields Prize laureates.
In addition, young people will have an intensive scientific and educational program in 10 fields of sciences in the format of lectures, master classes, seminars.
The interdisciplinary scientific event "Science of the future — science of the youth" is held annually at leading universities of our country. Since 2014, the forum has been held in St. Petersburg, Sevastopol, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Sochi, Moscow and Kaliningrad. The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation is the initiator of the event, and the "Inconsult K", a consulting company, is the event's manager.
