On July 11, the 5th International Summer Space School, organized by the Belt and Road Aerospace Innovation Alliance (abbreviated: BRAIA), was opened at the Northwestern Polytechnic University in Taicang, Jiangsu Province (China). Alexander Anoikin, Vladislav Ostafurov and Sofia Kudak, the students of the Engineering and Physics Department of AmSU, the active participants of the Student Design Bureau "Rocket Science", became participants of this school.

Student groups from 7 countries arrived in Taicang to participate in the summer school: China, Russia, Argentina, Egypt, Malaysia, Nepal, and Pakistan. The school's program includes lectures on aerospace engineering, seminars and practical classes on rocket model design and traditional Chinese culture.

During the first two days of their stay, AmSU students had time to accustom to the modern campus of Northwestern Polytechnic University, get acquainted with other participants of the summer school, listen to a lecture by Professor Wang Xiaoliang of Shanghai Transport University "On the development and use of on-board receivers of satellite radio navigation systems", and of course, take part in the opening ceremony of the summer space school.

It is gratifying to note that this is the first full-time participation of AmSU representatives in events organized by the Innovative Space Alliance "BRAIA".
