Festival of Russian Feast held in AmSU

On April 19, the Amur State University held a Festival of Russian Feast. University students got acquainted with games, sports and leisure activities that originated in Russia.
The participating teams had to complete a route of eight stages, show their knowledge, try out Russian leisure activities and learn new information about the culture and history of the country.
Students had the opportunity to:
•    try themselves in sports that originated in Russia – klushkovanie (the prototype of hockey) and vyshibaly;
•    attend a workshop on Russian folk dance and the peculiarities of painting matryoshka;
•    play the Soviet game “Zarnitsa”;
•    get acquainted with the features of Russian cities and their historical names;
•    show their intelligence when answering questions about the history of the country in the game “What? Where? When?”;
•    get acquainted with Old Slavic household items in the “Battle of Buffoons”.
The students of AmSU not only had fun, but also learned more about Russian culture, history, and life.
The event was held for the competition “The Best Student Center of the year”.
