Students of the Department of International Relations have completed the World Trade Organization and the UN International Trade Center courses

Second-year students of the Department of International Relations who study in the specialty "Customs Affairs" have taken courses from the World Trade Organization and the UN International Trade Center. Their training on the online platforms lasted from April 4 to May 22 and was conducted in English. From the department, the training was supervised by Irina Palaeva, Associate Professor of the Department of International Business and Tourism.

During their studies, students received certificates on a variety of topics. The topics were determined by the students themselves, based on their scientific and professional interests: "How to Analyze Trade Flows", "Introduction to International Transport and Logistics", "Packaging and Labeling for Exports", "The International Trade Environment, "Accessing Halal Markets", "Women and Procurement. A total of 25 courses were completed during the training.

As part of the courses, the students listened to lectures, watched educational videos in English, solved situational problems, and most importantly, had the opportunity to discuss certain issues at educational forums with students from Argentina, India, Brazil, Nigeria, Italy, France and other countries. The ability to build communication with foreign partners, to defend their negotiating position are important for specialists working in the field of foreign economic activity.
