News and events

On June 27, the Amur State University AMGU-1 satellite (AMURSAT) made the 22000th orbit around the Earth.

The small spacecraft went on a flyby of the planet in the early morning, at 03:02. At the moment, AMGU-1 (AMURSAT) completes a flyby of the Earth in 94 minutes. The highest flight altitude (Apogee) is 483.4 km, and the lowest altitude (Perigee) is 467.7 km.

The launch of AMGU-1 (AMURSAT) was carried out from the Vostochny Cosmodrome on July 5, 2019 at 14:41 local time.

The AmSU satellite is a three-unit CubeSat weighing about 3 kg. AmurSat is equipped with a Photon-Amur ("Фотон-Амур") device developed by students of AmSU and designed for the study of new solar photovoltaic converters. It is also equipped with "DeCor" ("ДеКор"), the charged particle detector of the Moscow State University, which studies space weather and the technological module «ADS-B» — a device for determining the location of an aircraft in space.
