The AMSU-1 (AMURSAT) satellite completed its 16,000th orbit around the Earth. The next flyby of the planet began on May 28 at 19:57 Amur time. Now the period of the orbit around the Earth by the university satellite is 94.9 minutes. The highest flight altitude (Apogee) is 534.5 km, and the lowest altitude (Perigee) is 509.5 km. The small spacecraft was created by the team of the AmSU in partnership with the D.V. Skobeltsyn Research Institute of Nuclear Physics of Moscow State University. The satellite’s weight about 3 kilograms. Also it is equipped with a device developed by AmSU "Photon-Amur", a charged particle detector "DeKor" developed by SINP MSU and a technological demonstrator of the receiver ADS-B In.
