The AmSU delegation took part in the exchange event in the field of science of the youth of China and Russia

On June 5-6, the delegation of Amur State University took part in an exchange event in the field of science of the youth of China and Russia. The meeting was held at Heihe University, China.

The joint event was organized by Heihe University, Amur State University, Heilongjiang Foreign Scientific and Technical Cooperation Center, Heihe City Bureau of Science and Technology. The main organizer of the event was the Department of Science and Technology of Heilongjiang Province.

The event, which brings together young researchers and developers, was not the first joint project of this kind for AmSU and Heihe University. In June 2022, universities held the First Russian-Chinese Youth Forum of Scientific, Technical and Innovative Achievements. There were the total 65 reports there.

And one year later, the students were able to meet and this time personally discuss their developments. At the event, students from Russia and China made presentations on their innovative projects. This time, the number of participant institutions has significantly expanded. The institutions that took part in this event are Harbin Engineering University, Harbin Pedagogical University, Harbin University of Science and Technology, Mudanjiang Pedagogical University, Suihia College, AmSU and Heihe University. Everyone presented their projects at the event. In total, institutions brought 40 reports to the event.

14 AmSU students of Engineering Physics Faculty, Faculty of Energy, Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, Faculty of Design and Technology visited Heihe University. At the event, three reports were presented by students of the Faculty of Engineering and Physics. Valeria Berezovskaya presented a report on the topic of "Development of technology for obtaining composite material based on carbon fibers". Sofia Kudak told about the CubeSat 2U satellite. Master's student Artem Golykh joined the event remotely and spoke about the static calculation of deformations by the Vierendeel girder method of a rotary base designed for a shaking machine.
Alexander Mankov, a student of the Faculty of Energy, made another in-person report. The young man was talking about an automatic microgreen germinator, which he is working on.

As part of the event, the organizers awarded the best supervisors of the submitted projects. Certificates were received by Dmitry Fomin, the director of K.E. Tsiolkovsky Scientific and Educational Center, Alexander Voronkov, Junior researcher, Vladislav Rusinov, Head of the Student Design Bureau "Industrial Robotics and Automation", Vladislav Solovyov, Deputy Head of the Department "Launch and Technical missile Systems". In addition, the university received an award as the best organizer of the event.
The official delegation of the AmSU also attended the exchange event. The university was presented by: Andrey Leifa, Vice-Rector for Academic and Scientific Work, Vitaly Neshchimenko, Head of the Laboratory for Assessing the Radiation Resistance of Thermo-regulating Coatings, Victoria Yurina and Maxim Arevkov, junior researchers of the Radiation Resistance of Thermo-regulating Coatings laboratory, Sergey Chernov, the interpreter of the International Relations Department.

Representatives of AmSU and Heihe University signed an agreement on holding joint events in the field of science, which are planned to be held by the end of 2023. The parties also discussed trilateral cooperation in the research field with the Institute of Philology of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
During the official visit, they also discussed joint research of AmSU and Heihe University on the basis of the Center for Modern Innovations in Engineering Research of China and Russia. It will open in the Heihe university in September 2023. The AmSU delegation has already inspected part of the Center's laboratories and evaluated their equipment.
