On May 20, Amur State University summed up the results of the 5th university championship "Young Professionals". During the week, 82 students and lyceum students of the AmSU demonstrated their skills in 14 competencies. The work of the contestants was evaluated by 80 experts. These are university professors, representatives of the leading enterprises of the region, representatives of small and medium businesses, financial and educational organizations.
Over a period of five years, Amur State University has been holding the Young Professionals Championship. The number of competencies and the number of participants is growing every year. And more and more employers come to the championship as experts to see what future candidates for employment are capable of, because the skills of participants are assessed according to world standards, said Victoria Eremina, Vice-Rector for Youth Policy of AmSU.
In 2022, the list of competitive competencies was significantly expanded. The competitions were held in nine core competencies: "Web technologies", "Graphic design", "IT solutions for business on the 1C: Enterprise 8 platform", "Corporate protection against internal threats to information security", "Laboratory chemical analysis", " Machine learning and big data”, “Entrepreneurship”, “Social work”, “Tourism” and four new competencies: “Labor protection”, “Teaching English in a distance format”, “Advertising” and “Electrical installation”. The youngest participants, lyceum students of AmSU, for the first time took part in the championship in the competence "Laboratory chemical analysis".
